Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the design and construction of infrastructure projects for the Public Works practice.
- Ensure strong project management and design experience while collaborating with local entities.
- Supervise and manage a team of professional engineers, engineers-in-training, and CAD designers.
- Oversee design and plan production, manage client relationships, and supervise technical staff.
- Engage actively in professional organizations that benefit the Public Works Industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in Texas, or transferable within 2 months.
- At least 12 years of experience in utility and public works design.
- Good technical writing and communication skills.
- Experience in project scope development, professional services fee development, and staffing projections.
- Experience in producing winning project proposals as lead professional/project manager.
- Strong ability to train and mentor staff.
- Proficient in project management, administration, and supervision.
- Ability to work in a team environment with multiple offices and various disciplines.
- Positive attitude and self-directed.
