About the position

The Senior Project Manager (Cybersecurity and Infrastructure) is responsible for overseeing IT projects that encompass various systems and technologies, including infrastructure, security, cloud technologies, and applications. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive project management experience, particularly in cybersecurity and infrastructure projects, to ensure successful project delivery in collaboration with multiple stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT projects spanning multiple systems and technologies including infrastructure, security, cloud technologies, and applications.
• Collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners to deliver projects.
• Utilize advanced project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum) to manage project lifecycles.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and defined scope.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
• Demonstrate leadership in project reporting and management.
• Solve complex problems with a proactive attitude.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a must.
• Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum).
• Highly advanced skills in end-to-end project management for large-scale programs/projects.
• Demonstrated project leadership and management skills.
• Effective communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to deliver projects timely within budget and defined scope.
• Demonstrated complex problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience in higher education.
• Experience managing cybersecurity and/or infrastructure projects.
• CSM certification.
