About the position

The Senior Project Manager for Education, Nursing Operations, and Clinical Pathways at Mass General Brigham (MGB) will lead the implementation of the West Health Accelerator program, aimed at improving care for older adults. This role involves strategic guidance, project planning, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring project delivery aligns with quality standards and budget constraints. The position requires collaboration across various hospital and system-level teams to foster a patient-first care model, while also acting as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead integrated project planning, including driving project objectives and building project plans with timelines and deliverables.
  • Identify potential barriers and opportunities for program work, solve problems, and escalate issues to program leadership as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Engage hospital-level West Champions in strategic discussions on implementation approaches.
  • Provide input into the vision and strategy for the West Health Accelerator program in collaboration with the Program Director.
  • Facilitate meeting discussions and develop presentation materials to achieve project milestones.
  • Represent the West Health Accelerator internally and externally, delivering regular program status reports.
  • Manage project analysis, coordinating resources and ensuring completion of operational and financial analyses.
  • Develop playbooks and toolkits to enhance implementation and scaling of the program.
  • Act as the primary contact for Nursing and Operations, Clinical Pathway, and Education branches.

Requirements

  • Master's degree required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in a research-related field, preferably in operations, project management, or performance improvement.
  • Prior supervisory experience required.
  • Experience with financial management and data collection systems.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Experience designing clinical workflows in collaboration with clinicians.
  • Process improvement skills and/or training preferred.
  • Experience working within healthcare systems or similar settings preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time, on scope, and on budget.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence in a matrix organization.

  • Experience in healthcare systems, hospital clinical operations, or academic medical centers.
