About the position

The Senior Project Manager will oversee the design, construction, and commissioning of innovative Direct Air Capture facilities across North America, with potential future projects globally. This role involves leading complex projects valued between $50-150M, serving as a technical expert and project leader, and managing relationships with various project partners. The position offers significant exposure to the C-Suite and the opportunity to influence the commercial pipeline in the rapidly growing carbon removals industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, construction, and commissioning of Direct Air Capture facilities.
• Manage projects from pre-FEED through to operations for complex electrochemical plants.
• Serve as the technical expert and hands-on project leader throughout the project lifecycle.
• Closely manage relationships with EPC and other DAC hub project partners.
• Make key decisions impacting the overall commercial pipeline.
• Build and lead a sizeable project team over time.

Requirements

• Experience managing projects with a value of $50-150M in chemical, materials manufacturing, oil & gas, or clean technology sectors.
• Advanced degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Substantial experience executing projects in industry.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively nationwide and internationally.
