The Senior Project Manager / Facility Engineer will play a pivotal role in managing key construction projects for the Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier Headquarters (HQ) at Fort Belvoir, VA. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in overseeing the entire scope of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects are executed efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the physical and financial closeout of projects, which includes procurement, estimates, and work site supervision. The role demands a thorough understanding of construction processes, as the individual will be tasked with completing quantity take-offs, finalizing pricing, and preparing budget and estimate deliverables for clients. In addition to project management duties, the Senior Project Manager will serve as the owner representative, actively participating in project review meetings with clients to discuss project scope, budgeting, and zoning requirements. The position requires a strong focus on meeting critical time and budget constraints, necessitating excellent organizational and communication skills. The candidate will also manage the subcontractor hiring process, schedule and supervise subcontractors, and ensure that quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
