About the position

Inotiv is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex initiatives within the Enterprise. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of high-visibility projects and programs that significantly impact the organization. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for creating a robust project management approach that effectively integrates both agile and traditional methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of delivering complex ERP implementations on time and within budget, while ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives. This position demands exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a comprehensive understanding of ERP systems. The Senior Project Manager will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring that all aspects of the project are meticulously planned and executed. This includes developing and maintaining project plans that encompass timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. The role also involves identifying and mitigating project risks, proactively addressing any issues that may arise, and providing appropriate visibility to project stakeholders and senior management. Fostering a collaborative environment is crucial, where all team members are respected and valued for their contributions. The Senior Project Manager will inspire and motivate team members to achieve project goals, recognizing and celebrating their achievements. Post-project evaluations will be conducted to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned. Additionally, the role includes managing vendors from the RFP stage through execution, handling multiple projects concurrently, and completing monthly financial forecasting, including scheduling expenditures and analyzing variances. Coaching and mentoring project managers within the organization is also a key responsibility, alongside contributing to the maturation of project management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables

  • Monitor project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of related education and equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years' experience managing large, complex projects
  • Experience with Agile frameworks
  • Experience with ERP implementations in an enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale ERP projects from inception to completion
