About the position

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of client projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the agreed-upon scope of work. This role serves as a bridge between clients, internal teams, and partners to manage the operational execution of projects effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and execute management strategies to meet project goals.
  • Oversee project life cycle stages, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Utilize project management software tools to track progress and report on project status.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing solutions as necessary.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in clinical project management within a CRO or pharmaceutical company.
  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • Extensive project management experience managing all stages of the project life cycle.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience recommended.
  • Strong financial acumen with advanced knowledge of financial management and forecasting.
  • Proficient in project management software tools and techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with remote project management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in clinical trials.
  • Knowledge of additional project management methodologies.
