About the position

The Senior Project Manager at JLL is responsible for leading and managing various construction projects, particularly in the industrial sector. This role involves cultivating client relationships, overseeing project execution, and ensuring adherence to JLL's project delivery methods. The Senior Project Manager will mentor junior staff, manage project teams, and contribute to business development initiatives while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction and project success.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate positive relations with project managers and associates.
• Market the company's services to potential clients and maintain favorable impressions.
• Assist clients in developing real estate strategies linked to their business objectives.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate project managers and associates on projects.
• Manage relationships with clients and supplier partners, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
• Lead project calls and meetings, preparing necessary documentation and updates.
• Generate and manage project schedules, ensuring timely execution of tasks.
• Act as a steward of the owner's money by identifying and communicating cost savings.
• Actively participate in business development initiatives and networking events.

Requirements

• At least 6-8 years of experience in construction, with 4 years in industrial construction.
• Proficient understanding of drawings and specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and delegate tasks effectively.
• Advanced understanding of lease language and P&L financials.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in mentoring and coaching junior staff.
• Familiarity with JLL's 5-step project delivery method.
• Knowledge of HSSE and sustainability practices.
