About the position

The Senior Project Manager - IT is responsible for leading the Project Management Office (PMO) and overseeing various aspects of IT project management, including integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk management, and organizational change management. This role requires effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring project success through leadership buy-in, employee engagement, and comprehensive training strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project integration management, ensuring all project elements are properly coordinated.
• Manage project scope to include all necessary work for successful project completion.
• Ensure timely completion of projects through effective time management processes.
• Control project costs to ensure completion within the approved budget.
• Maintain project quality to satisfy the needs for which it was undertaken.
• Effectively manage human resources involved in the project.
• Facilitate project communications to ensure timely and appropriate information dissemination.
• Identify, analyze, and respond to project risks to mitigate potential issues.
• Implement organizational change management principles to support system implementation.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED equivalent is required.
• Five years or more of experience in project management for large complex IT projects.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with organizational change management (OCM) principles.
• Familiarity with IT project management tools and methodologies.
