The Senior Project Manager for LFI Treasury Management will operate under administrative direction, utilizing extensive knowledge and skills acquired through education and experience to manage multiple high-profile projects simultaneously. These projects are characterized by their large size and broad scope, requiring a comprehensive approach throughout the project lifecycle—from proposal and defining requirements to project planning and implementation. The role demands significant input from industry and business unit subject matter experts, influencing strategic direction and developing tactical plans with substantial latitude for independent actions or decisions. The Senior Project Manager will provide comprehensive solutions to complex problems or needs while maintaining extensive contact with internal customers and subject matter experts. This position supports a multi-year initiative aimed at enhancing the Treasury Management function to meet the Large Financial Institution (LFI) expectations for a Category IV Firm, with a preference for candidates who have experience in LFI Treasury Management. In this role, the Senior Project Manager will collaborate with the senior management team to build out a strategic roadmap and identify project needs. They will manage relationships with key vendors and conduct preliminary investigations for complex project requests, ensuring that training plans align with organizational priorities, business plans, and objectives. The Senior Project Manager will act as a proactive interface for project stakeholders and senior management teams, ensuring that business requirements are completely and accurately defined and that business applications are delivered effectively. They will refine and implement project management methodologies, tools, and practices to foster continuous process improvement, select and manage cross-functional project teams, and oversee these teams throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, assigning, scheduling, monitoring, and reviewing project activities. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will conduct interviews, compile and analyze responses, and create business cases for projects. They will participate in root cause analysis to recommend appropriate actions for improving productivity and efficiency, using data and performance indicators to identify trends and recommend corrective actions as necessary. The role involves identifying, defining, and documenting complex business requirements, processes, and deliverables, as well as performing project risk assessments by identifying key risk factors and providing effective mitigation strategies. The Senior Project Manager will serve as a liaison between internal customers and external suppliers, communicating regularly with project stakeholders and performing project evaluations while participating in post-project quality monitoring, including monitoring Return on Investment (ROI) metrics. This position fosters a mentoring culture of continuous improvement and requires a hands-on approach, where the Senior Project Manager may need to assist the team directly when necessary.
