About the position

In 2023, the Northeast Microelectronics Coalition (NEMC) Hub was selected as one of eight Department of Defense (DoD) Microelectronics Commons Regional Hubs. This selection, along with the accompanying award, is the result of over two years of collaboration and coalition-building with more than 90 industry, academic, and government partners. Led by MassTech, the NEMC Hub is dedicated to enhancing the nation's global leadership in microelectronics and establishing a robust lab-to-fab development ecosystem. As of March 2024, the NEMC Hub has submitted 15 proposals to the federal government's Microelectronics Commons Call for Projects, which encompass collaborative projects involving the Hub's 170 member organizations across the Northeast. The Hub's submissions highlight its strengths in diverse sectors, covering all six critical technology execution areas identified by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), including 5G/6G technology, AI Hardware, Commercial Leap Ahead Technologies, Electromagnetic Warfare, Secure Edge/IoT Computing, and Quantum Technologies. The Senior Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing multiple microelectronic development projects concurrently, ensuring successful project execution from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management and communication skills, along with prior experience managing other project managers.
