About the position

The Senior Project Manager at UCLA will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of complex projects related to UCLA and UCPath. This role is crucial for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.   • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Proven problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze project data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong leadership skills to foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and clients.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to continuously evaluate and improve project management processes.
  • Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
  • Experience with PeopleSoft, including project management in systems implementation.
