About the position

The Senior Project Manager at ABB is responsible for leading the execution of medium-sized projects within the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division. This role involves ensuring that all project activities are conducted in accordance with established procedures, regulations, and standards, while also guiding project team members to meet project requirements and deliverables. The position operates in a hybrid work model, allowing for both remote and on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team and establish the project execution approach.
• Oversee planning, monitoring, and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish project goals.
• Monitor and control project progress, resource utilization, and project financials.
• Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risks while pursuing opportunities.
• Drive formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Analyzer, Chemical or Instrumentation Engineering, or a similar field.
• 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager or Operations Manager with Process Analytical products or projects.
• Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools for Refining, Chemical, or Petrochemical industries.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment in hazardous areas is essential.
• Strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following workplace safety guidelines.
