About the position

The Senior Project/Program Manager at Navitas is responsible for leading complex IT engineering and big data projects, utilizing non-traditional program management methodologies such as Agile. This role requires a strong background in project management, particularly in government or military environments, and the ability to manage personnel utilization and budget across various projects. The position is hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote and on-site work in Falls Church, Alexandria, and Arlington.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex IT engineering and big data projects.
• Utilize non-traditional program management methodologies, including Agile.
• Track and report on personnel utilization and budget across the Search portfolio.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
• Ensure compliance with security clearance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 7-10 years of experience, or a Master's degree plus 5 years of experience.
• Minimum of ten years of Project Management experience in IT engineering or big data environments.
• Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
• Five years of experience managing projects using Agile methodologies in big data, AI/MLOps, and DevSecOps environments.
• Five years of experience in a military or government environment in project management, engineering, or computer science.
• Strong communication skills.
• Active certification in PMI Project Management Professional, PMI Program Management Professional, or equivalent.
