About the position

As a Senior Property Manager at Colliers, you will play a pivotal role in managing properties on behalf of clients, ensuring operational excellence and fostering strong relationships with tenants, property owners, and vendors. This position emphasizes leadership, client care, and strategic asset management, allowing you to contribute innovative ideas to enhance property value and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage, lead, and develop the property management staff in the market, ensuring thorough understanding and implementation of operations, policies, and procedures.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with property owners, tenants, vendors, and contractors.
• Mentor and manage the team to achieve overall organizational goals.
• Establish and maintain strategic relations with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Expand the business base through regular contact with key clients and prospective clients.
• Anticipate challenges and respond accordingly to manage daily operations effectively.
• Maintain existing clients while continually expanding the business base.

Requirements

• 5 - 8 years of progressive experience managing commercial real estate.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of professionalism.
• Experience managing staff effectively.
• Strong experience with real estate software such as YARDI, MRI, etc.
• Previous exposure to institutional clients.
• Strong understanding of financial reports and basic business fundamentals, including P&L management.

Nice-to-haves

• Industry-specific certification such as CPM and/or RPA preferred.
• Understanding of market cycles and the ability to set short and long-term strategies.
• Demonstrate accountability with budget and capital expenses.
