Senior Property Manager

About the position

The Senior Property Manager at Colliers International is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial real estate properties on behalf of clients. This role emphasizes strong client relationships, operational excellence, and financial reporting, while also providing opportunities for innovative contributions to enhance property value. The position requires effective team management and strategic relationship building with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with property owners, tenants, vendors, and contractors.
• Mentor and manage the team to achieve organizational goals.
• Establish and maintain strategic relations with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Expand the business base through regular contact with key clients and prospective clients.
• Manage daily operations effectively, anticipating challenges and responding accordingly.
• Maintain existing client relationships while continually seeking to expand the business base.

Requirements

• 5 - 10 years of progressive experience managing commercial real estate.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field.
• Valid real estate license is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of professionalism.
• Experience with real estate software such as MRI or Yardi.
• Previous exposure to institutional clients.
• Strong understanding of financial reports and basic business fundamentals, including P&L management.

Nice-to-haves

• Industry specific certification such as CPM and/or RPA preferred.
• Understanding of market cycles and the ability to set short and long-term strategies.
• Demonstrate accountability with budget and capital expense.
