About the position

The Senior Public Relations Analyst at Savvee Consulting will support federal clients in Washington, DC, focusing on communication and public relations within the federal government sector. The role requires exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness, with responsibilities including advising executives, drafting communications, overseeing media inquiries, and ensuring compliance with communication standards.

Responsibilities

• Serving as the liaison within various divisions
• Advising executives on communication strategies, messaging, and events
• Drafting and editing proactive and responsive communications such as press releases, statements, and social media posts
• Overseeing the clearance of communication materials
• Monitoring and triaging media inquiries
• Developing processes for oversight of press inquiries and Congressional hearings
• Providing professional insight to governmental staff
• Reviewing submissions in Strategic Engagement Platform (StEP) and other CRM tools
• Coordinating review of digital products and websites for compliance
• Utilizing strategic planning tools to review Public Campaign proposals
• Understanding organizational policies for accuracy of solutions
• Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Five or more years of professional experience
• One or more years of communication/public relations related experience
• Previous experience engaging stakeholders
• Proficient with Microsoft Office's suite of products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
