About the position

The Senior Publicist role focuses on developing and executing public relations strategies specifically within the luxury travel sector. The position requires a creative and organized individual who is passionate about public relations and has a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing national media coverage, analyzing campaign performance, and collaborating with various departments to align marketing efforts with company goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PR strategies for the company
• Develop and execute campaigns across multiple channels
• Assist with managing client partnerships
• Track and report on the performance of campaigns
• Creation of press releases
• Managing client benchmarks and delivering strong media coverage through leadership and guidance
• Proactively seek out and propose new ideas, creating proposals and pitching
• Strategize, execute, and manage global media relations campaigns across luxury travel
• Work with other departments to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with company goals

Requirements

• 3+ years of hospitality public relations experience at a PR agency
• Experience working with luxury hotels
• High-level media contacts across broadcast, print and online media
• Ability to articulate ideas succinctly and comfortable with public speaking and presentations
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in integrated communications campaign conception beyond traditional media
• Proactive attitude and team mentality
