About the position

The Senior Publisher Sales Manager, U.S. & Canada is responsible for pursuing and managing publisher prospects in the U.S. and Canada, focusing on mid-sized U.S. and SMB Canadian publishers. This role involves both inbound and outbound sales strategies, managing the entire sales process to onboard a significant number of North American publishers, enhancing engagement and monetization of their sites. The position requires fluency in English and French and can be based in either New York City or Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new publisher partners by building and growing outbound relationships across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Share Taboola's Publisher offerings and demonstrate how they help Publishers expand audience engagement and generate ad revenue.
  • Work alongside the North American Publisher Director to meet with prospects and close long-term business deals.
  • Build detailed proposals for clients using projection models in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Create engaging presentations for in-person and video conference meetings to pitch Publisher prospects.
  • Quickly calculate media math on calls and in meetings to provide relevant and accurate revenue estimates.
  • Assist the operations team in implementing processes, structuring integrations, and launching partners efficiently.
  • Partner with internal Account Managers to ensure proper launch and retention of major partnerships.
  • Collaborate with Taboola's Legal Team to overcome contractual obstacles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Reside in either New York City or Canada.
  • Fluency in English and French.
  • 5+ years of proven work experience in a similar sales role.
  • Track record of success selling complex products in Advertising, SaaS, Technology, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated effective sales acumen and technique.
  • Ability to quickly absorb product information and relay value propositions to prospects and clients.
  • Understanding of challenges associated with contractual agreements.
