The position is hybrid, based in Hartford, CT, and focuses on developing components for a software application platform using Python, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Write production software in Python, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Develop and support the middle layer of the application to build, test, and deploy RESTful microservices.
• Create shared services components and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaborate with teams to identify potential issues early in the development cycle.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working as a Python developer with RESTful API development skills.
• 2+ years of microservices development experience.
• Proficient in writing unit tests and using code coverage tools.
• 2+ years of experience in TypeScript/React JS.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery processes.
• Analytical and self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
