About the position

The Senior Python Developer role is designed for an experienced backend developer with a strong focus on Python and Azure technologies. This position involves building and managing robust data systems, primarily in a hybrid work environment based in East Hartford, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend development, database management, and cloud services, particularly within Azure and Kubernetes environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Python.
• Manage and query databases using SQL.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Utilize Azure Data Factory for ETL processes and pipeline development.
• Interact with and manage databases such as Synapse, MongoDB, and Cosmos DB.

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in backend development with Python.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for database management.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Proficiency in using Synapse, MongoDB, and Cosmos DB.
• Skilled in Azure Data Factory for ETL processes.
