About the position
The Senior Python Django Developer role focuses on developing highly scalable applications using the Python/Django framework, with a strong emphasis on Azure Databricks and Azure environments. The position requires expertise in creating and deploying applications that integrate various Azure components, ensuring high standards of code quality and documentation, while also collaborating effectively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Develop highly scalable applications in Python/Django framework.
- Utilize Azure Databricks workspace to create notebooks, integrate with external repositories, set up jobs, and work with Delta Lake Storage.
- Create and deploy applications in Azure environment with interconnected Azure components (Functions, App Service, Containers, etc.).
- Identify and fix bottlenecks arising from inefficient code.
- Implement user authentication and authorization across multiple systems, servers, and environments.
- Ensure programs are written to the highest standards, including Unit Tests and technical specifications.
- Document key aspects of the project.
- Collaborate on projects and work independently when required.
Requirements
- 10+ years of prior experience as a developer in the required technologies.
- Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task across different projects.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Skilled at independently researching topics to discover relevant information.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to maintain momentum.
