About the position

We are looking for a Senior Python Lead Developer with expertise in Generative AI to lead technical projects and deliver high-quality software solutions. This role requires a strong background in cloud services, particularly Google Cloud and Azure, along with extensive experience in Python and big data technologies. The ideal candidate will mentor team members and ensure best practices are followed throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable and efficient architectures using Python, Generative AI, Azure, and GCP.
• Oversee the development and deployment of big data solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and challenges.

Requirements

• 8 to 12 years of experience in software development, particularly with Python and Generative AI.
• Proficiency in Azure and GCP with hands-on experience in deploying and managing cloud-based solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of PySpark and its application in big data processing.
• Experience with Google Cloud - Big Data and Google Cloud - Services.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Full software development lifecycle experience.
• Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills.

Nice-to-haves

• C# programming expertise.
• Proven practical expertise in Azure, specifically with respect to authoring, deploying, debugging, and troubleshooting function apps.
• Experience with application insights and log analytics workspaces.
• API development experience.
• General understanding of Generative AI models, concepts, capabilities, and usage patterns.
• Experience with Lang chain or other similar abstraction/orchestration libraries.
