About the position

The Senior QA Analyst is a critical role responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software products in a fast-paced environment. This position involves comprehensive testing of applications, designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to enhance product quality. The Senior QA Analyst will also mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements, all while upholding the company's core values.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute test plans for new features based on requirements and specifications
  • Conduct manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing to identify defects
  • Work closely with product managers and designers to understand customer needs, ensuring the delivery of quality and value
  • Work closely with developers to build features and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Triage, document, and track defects to facilitate solutions during the testing phase
  • Document test findings and maintain accurate product documentation
  • Provide input on automated tests for features being developed
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency
  • Participate in daily standups, planning sessions, and other regular meetings
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members, sharing knowledge, and promoting best practices in testing

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing for web and/or mobile applications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • Experience in automation frameworks is a plus
  • Must be authorized to work and currently live in the United States
