About the position

The Senior QA Automation Engineer / Developer is responsible for collaborating with the program manager and QA team to create automated test scripts and perform functional testing. This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with new technologies and high risks, focusing on building automated scripts for a significant initiative within the firm.

Responsibilities

• Create automated test scripts in core Java SDET development.
• Perform API Testing using REST-ASSURED and Cucumber.
• Handle validations on JSON data type using Java.
• Write SQL queries using various databases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA automation.
• Strong experience in core Java SDET development.
• Proficiency in API Testing with REST-ASSURED and Cucumber.
• Experience in handling validations on JSON data type using Java.
• Ability to write SQL queries using any databases.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with CockroachDB and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Java Selenium.
• Experience in building pipelines using Jenkins/DevOps.
• Brokerage domain experience or experience in trading securities.
