About the position

The Senior QA Automation Engineer will be part of the newly established Service Consultant sub-practice, focusing on delivering quality assurance solutions for a significant long-term client in the financial services sector. This role emphasizes teamwork and aims to advance the client's objectives through innovative testing strategies and automation practices.

Responsibilities

• Automate end-to-end tests for UI and API workflows.
• Create, maintain, and execute automated tests using various testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Gitlab and Jenkins.
• Perform cross-browser testing, visual testing, and performance testing as needed.

Requirements

• Proficiency in testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Karate, Playwright, and Rest Assured.
• Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript, with the ability to write modular and maintainable code.
• Knowledge of test automation architecture, including POM or similar design patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and integrating automated tests into the pipeline.
• Basic Linux and SQL experience, with a working knowledge of Cloud services, preferably AWS.
