About the position

The Senior QA Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software products through automation testing. This position is primarily focused on building and enhancing testing frameworks using Python and Pytest, while collaborating with software and engineering teams. The role offers a flexible work arrangement, requiring only one day per week onsite in Andover, MA, and the rest of the week can be worked from home.

Responsibilities

• Perform automation testing on software products.
• Build and enhance testing frameworks using Python and Pytest.
• Collaborate with software and engineering teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on automation scripts.
• Document testing processes and results.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in automation testing.
• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience using Pytest for testing frameworks.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in the energy industry.
• Bachelor of Science degree preferred, but not required.
• Ability to build test frameworks from scratch.
• Strong collaboration skills with software and engineering teams.
