About the position

The Senior QA Automation Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through both manual and automated testing. This role requires extensive experience in automation testing, particularly with various programming languages and frameworks. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, ensuring that software meets the highest standards before deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and design test cases.
• Perform manual testing as needed to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Utilize tools like JIRA and GIT for version control and issue tracking.
• Conduct performance testing and benchmarking using JMeter.
• Create and execute API tests for RESTful web services using Postman.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on Manual and Automation testing.
• Extensive knowledge of relational databases and advanced SQL proficiency.
• Proficiency in multiple development languages including C#, Java, Python, Ruby, and Gherkin.
• Over 3 years of experience in developing automation tests using JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js and React.js.
• Expertise in Tosca Automation is mandatory.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in performance testing and benchmarking using JMeter is an advantage.
• Familiarity with behavior-driven testing methodologies and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
