About the position

This is a contract opportunity to join a well-known Financial Services firm located in Merrimack, NH. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated team of QA Engineers focused on writing Java code specifically for API test automation. It is important to note that this role will not involve any UI testing components. The position is hybrid, requiring you to be onsite four days a week at the Merrimack office. The initial contract is scheduled for six months, with the possibility of extension beyond that, providing a great opportunity to work for a Fortune 500 company and gain valuable experience in the financial services sector.

Responsibilities

• Write Java code for API test automation.
• Collaborate with the QA team to develop and implement test automation frameworks.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest-Assured, Apigee, or JMeter.
• Utilize Azure for testing and deployment processes.
• Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration in testing environments.

Requirements

• 6+ years of QA Automation experience.
• 6+ years of experience writing Java for automation testing.
• 4+ years of experience building test automation frameworks.
• 4+ years of API testing experience with tools like Postman, Rest-Assured, Apigee, or JMeter.
• 4+ years of experience with Azure.
• 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a math-based degree.
• Experience working in the Financial Services industry.
