About the position

The Senior QA Engineer position at an educational software company involves leading a team of QA engineers and developing automation frameworks for testing educational technology products. The role is fully remote and focuses on ensuring the quality of software used by millions of students across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Java, JavaScript, Selenium Webdriver, and Playwright.
• Lead the technical direction of a team of 4 QA engineers.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers on CI/CD processes, containerization, and orchestration tooling.
• Ensure high-quality software delivery through effective testing strategies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on automation testing experience.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Proficiency in Selenium Webdriver or similar automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Java or similar object-oriented programming languages.
• Familiarity with Playwright and JavaScript is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred.
