About the position
ICE Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Regulatory products. The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the Quality Assurance processes and providing exceptional Customer Support for our software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software application testing, particularly in the financial sector, with a focus on fixed income products such as bonds. This position requires a deep understanding of the vulnerabilities associated with these applications and the ability to assess and mitigate risks effectively. In this role, you will be tasked with writing complex database queries in RDBMS systems, including Oracle and MySQL, to extract, analyze, and test large quantities of data. You will also design and implement complex data comparison frameworks using Python, which will involve parsing files of various formats and comparing large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity. Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies is essential, as you will be using tools such as Atlassian JIRA for defect tracking and management, as well as HP ALM/Quality Center for managing test cases and executing tests. The Senior QA Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all software products meet the highest standards of quality before they are released to customers. This position may allow for telecommuting or working from home in accordance with company policies, but when not telecommuting, the engineer must report to the work site in Jacksonville, FL. Responsibilities
- Oversee Quality Assurance processes for Regulatory products.
- Provide Customer Support for software applications.
- Perform software application testing related to fixed income financial products.

- Use Agile methodologies and tools for defect tracking and test management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in software application testing.
- Experience testing software applications related to fixed income financial products.
- Ability to write complex database queries in RDBMS systems including Oracle and MySQL.
- Experience designing complex data comparison frameworks using Python.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodology and tools including Atlassian JIRA and HP ALM/Quality Center.
Nice-to-haves
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- Three (3) years of experience performing the above-listed skills.
