About the position

Cybermedia Technologies (CTEC) is a CMMI Level III company that has provided technology and management solutions to commercial and government clients across the USA for over 22 years. We are currently looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, you will lead work stream quality assurance efforts for complex and diverse software systems. Your role will involve developing and implementing testing strategies to ensure the highest quality of software products. You will work closely with development teams to identify, document, and resolve defects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, strategies, and cases.
• Lead work stream QA functions, providing guidance and mentoring to junior QA engineers and Java developers for testing integration activities.
• Identify, document, and track defects through their lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using tools like Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Conduct performance testing to ensure software meets performance standards.
• Work closely with development teams to understand requirements and design effective test cases.
• Implement best practices in QA processes and continuously seek improvements.
• Create detailed test reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 5+ years of relevant QA experience, or
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 7+ years of relevant QA experience, or
• 9+ years of relevant QA experience.
