About the position

At Kandji, the QA Engineer will be integrated into a development team, collaborating closely with software engineers, product managers, and UX designers. This role involves owning all functional testing requirements, ensuring quality best practices, and effectively communicating with team members and stakeholders. The QA Engineer will proactively build and execute test plans, manage larger testing projects, and work alongside developers and product/UX teams to deliver high-quality features and code. Additionally, the role includes maintaining and enhancing automated test coverage using Playwright.

Responsibilities

• Own all functional testing requirements for the project.
• Uphold quality best practices within the development team.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Proactively build and execute test plans.
• Manage larger testing projects.
• Work in tandem with developers, product managers, and UX designers to deliver high-quality features and code.
• Maintain and grow automated test coverage via Playwright.

Requirements

• Experience with functional testing and quality assurance best practices.
• Proficiency in building and executing test plans.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Technical aptitude in software testing and quality assurance processes.
• Experience with automated testing tools, specifically Playwright.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Python and API testing.
• Experience with AWS and Git.
