About the position

As a Senior Quality Analyst at GDIT, you will play a crucial role in ensuring quality assurance processes are effectively implemented and maintained across the organization. This position focuses on fostering a culture of continual improvement, supporting best practices, and promoting risk-based thinking to enhance quality outcomes. You will be responsible for conducting audits, coordinating quality-related training, and assisting in the preparation for external audits, all while ensuring compliance with ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Defense quality analysis process and ensure ISO standards are implemented and maintained.
• Recommend modifications to existing standards, methods, and procedures.
• Assist in the coordination, execution, and completion of annual and monthly Defense QEHS Internal Audits.
• Prepare for external audits and resolve audit issues as they arise.
• Support program personnel with customer or agency audits and inspections to achieve successful outcomes.
• Maintain departmental and process documentation to support company operations.
• Conduct quality-related orientations and trainings as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of related experience in quality assurance and auditing; or 9 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in internally auditing company processes to ISO standards.
• Strong skills in driving quality and safety improvements.
• Adaptable interpersonal communication skills to build relationships with leadership and project teams.
• Organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

• EHS or QEHS experience.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification (within 6 months); ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certifications; internal EHS compliance training.
