About the position

As a Senior Quality Analyst at General Dynamics Information Technology, you will play a crucial role in ensuring quality assurance processes are upheld across the organization. This position focuses on supporting a culture of continual improvement, promoting risk-based thinking, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards. You will be involved in internal audits, documentation maintenance, and training, contributing to the overall quality and safety improvements within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Support a continual improvement culture, encouraging engagement of all employees to identify best practices and improvement opportunities.
  • Support the best practice processes, resources, and tools needed to meet quality goals.
  • Promote risk and opportunity-based thinking across the organization.
  • Support the Defense quality analysis process and ensure ISO standards, processes, and procedures are implemented and maintained.
  • Recommend modifications to existing, or suggest new, standards, methods, and procedures.
  • Assist in the coordination, execution, and completion of identified annual Defense QEHS Internal Audits.
  • Assist in the preparation for external audits and resolution of audit issues.
  • Conduct quality-related orientations and trainings as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of related experience in quality assurance and auditing; OR in lieu of degree, 9 years of related experience is required.
  • Experience internally auditing company processes to ISO standards.
  • Skills to constantly drive quality and safety improvements.
  • Adaptable interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build relationships and work with area/regional leadership and project teams.
  • Organized and possess a high attention to detail.
  • Able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

  • EHS or QEHS experience.
  • Certifications - ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (within 6 months); ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor and internal EHS compliance training.
