Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in Communities of Practice while modeling professional behavior and accountability.
  • Support new product development and lead audits.
  • Set project priorities based on goals and trends.
  • Engage in technical discussions with customers and regulators.
  • Partner with Engineering and Operations to document processes.
  • Implement new inspection technologies and quality strategies.
  • Provide reports on quality project impacts and ensure QMS compliance with regulations.
  • Promote Operational Excellence using Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Manage risk and drive process standardization.
  • Lead Built-in Quality Processes and maintain metrics.
  • Train, coach, and mentor employees on quality control procedures.

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years in manufacturing Quality Engineering, aerospace industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Quality Engineering processes and tools (PPAP, RCCA, APQP, SPC, AS9102 FAIR).
  • Experience with AS9100/AS9110, NADCAP, and regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, JCAB).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing knowledge (Black Belt/Green Belt preferred).
  • ASQ certifications (CMQ/OE, CQE, CQA) preferred.
  • Organizational skills for managing multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; proficiency in MS Office.
