Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in Communities of Practice while modeling professional behavior and accountability.
- Support new product development and lead audits.
- Set project priorities based on goals and trends.
- Engage in technical discussions with customers and regulators.
- Partner with Engineering and Operations to document processes.
- Implement new inspection technologies and quality strategies.
- Provide reports on quality project impacts and ensure QMS compliance with regulations.
- Promote Operational Excellence using Lean and Six Sigma.
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Manage risk and drive process standardization.
- Lead Built-in Quality Processes and maintain metrics.
- Train, coach, and mentor employees on quality control procedures.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years in manufacturing Quality Engineering, aerospace industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of Quality Engineering processes and tools (PPAP, RCCA, APQP, SPC, AS9102 FAIR).
- Experience with AS9100/AS9110, NADCAP, and regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, JCAB).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing knowledge (Black Belt/Green Belt preferred).
- ASQ certifications (CMQ/OE, CQE, CQA) preferred.
- Organizational skills for managing multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; proficiency in MS Office.
