Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for construction projects in the Northwest region, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites to monitor compliance with quality control standards, specifications, and codes.
  • Review project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and submittals, to identify quality control requirements and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Provide training and support to project teams on quality control processes and best practices.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality control management within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction quality control standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively guide project teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in Quality Control or Quality Assurance (e.g., CQI, CQM).
  • Experience with construction projects in the federal sector.
