About the position
The Senior Quality Engineer will be a key member of the Quality Team at an aerospace manufacturing company, focusing on enhancing process capabilities in key manufacturing processes. This role involves supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), suppliers, and operations, with a strong emphasis on quality assurance and corrective action processes.
Responsibilities
- Improve process capability of key manufacturing processes, including machining and special processes.
- Lead and participate in the Quality Clinic for real-time MRB dispositions and RCCA processes.
- Prepare monthly Quality metrics for management reviews and corrective action boards.
- Assist in supervising various product quality assurance activities, including receiving inspection and final inspections.
- Provide effective corrective actions to control losses using problem-solving techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer.
- Thorough knowledge of Quality principles, materials, and processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Aerospace or Automotive industries is required.
- US Citizenship or Green Card holder is mandatory.
