About the position

As a Senior React Developer, you will play a crucial role in the Experience Design & Research team, which is dedicated to delivering innovative and exceptional digital experiences for clients, prospects, and partners. This position is 100% focused on front-end development, specifically utilizing React, CSS, and other web technologies to create compelling user interfaces for a web application. You will collaborate closely with design and product teams to build frontend experiences that elevate our digital offerings. Your work will involve creating prototypes, patterns, and components that empower our partners and clients, ensuring that all developments meet the highest standards of accessibility and usability. In this role, you will be expected to have a strong understanding of the software engineering lifecycle and best practices, with extensive experience in React, Java (Spring), Typescript, CSS, and HTML. You will also need to be familiar with API integration and server/client interactions, as well as content management systems like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). A key aspect of your responsibilities will be to implement responsive user interfaces that comply with WCAG specifications, ensuring that our products are accessible to all users. You will be a detail-oriented systems thinker, capable of identifying and solving complex challenges from multiple perspectives. The position requires a self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. You will be responsible for managing expectations, delivering effective technical solutions, and contributing to an open culture that promotes feedback and diverse perspectives. Your ability to communicate effectively with designers, product owners, and architects will be essential in understanding technical needs and user requirements, while also conveying the complexity and specifications of development tasks. Additionally, you will contribute to the design system by developing reusable software components, interactive reporting dashboards, and data visualizations, while also documenting best practices and guides for future reference.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable and configurable software components and interactive reporting dashboards.
• Implement responsive user interfaces that comply with WCAG specifications.
• Contribute to the design system by creating components, documentation, and best practices.
• Manage expectations and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile development processes and follow best practices for source control.
• Communicate effectively with designers, product owners, and architects to understand technical needs and user requirements.
• Evangelize a deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build accessible and reusable UI components.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on React, CSS, and HTML.
• Strong understanding of software engineering lifecycle and best practices.
• Experience with API integration and server/client interaction.
• Familiarity with Content Management Systems, particularly Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Experience implementing responsive user interfaces and ensuring compliance with accessibility standards (ADA, WCAG).
• Ability to develop based on technical architecture design and provide expertise to enterprise clients.
• Experience with CI/CD and build pipeline automation.
• Strong software development skills with a solid understanding of project cycles and source control technologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Practical understanding of accessibility standards and WCAG 2.1 compliance.
• Familiarity with D3 or data visualization libraries.
• Experience with CSS 3 responsive design, CSS preprocessors, and CSS animations.
