About the position

Cognizant is seeking a highly qualified Senior React JS Developer with over 5 years of experience in developing scalable enterprise applications. This role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and clients to deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing reliable and maintainable code, and will be responsible for leading the development of Commerce Microservices to enhance the e-commerce platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of Commerce Microservices to enhance the e-commerce platform.
• Oversee the design and deployment of Microservices to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Provide secure coding practices for React.JS applications to protect against vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain React JS components to deliver high-quality user interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Networks and Devices domain expertise into software solutions.
• Ensure all software solutions meet the highest standards of security and performance.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Mentor junior developers and help them grow their technical skills.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep our solutions cutting-edge.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in React JS development.
• Strong background in Microservices and Microservices development.
• Expertise in Secure Coding for React.JS to ensure application security.
• Extensive experience with React JS for building user interfaces.
