Best Life is seeking a Senior React Native Developer to join our team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in improving lives by helping to collect, organize, and analyze data that empowers users to make better health and lifestyle decisions. Our organization leverages the Live Learn Innovate Foundation (LLIF), a non-profit data platform, which is built on the principle that individuals should have ownership of their data. This role involves utilizing your programming knowledge and skills to implement high-quality software solutions that align with our mission. As a Senior React Native Developer, you will be responsible for comprehending software development requirements and implementing them effectively. Your tasks will include creating unit tests, documenting your work, deploying applications, troubleshooting issues, and providing ongoing support for our software implementations. You will primarily focus on developing mobile applications using React Native, with some involvement in React web development using Material UI. Additionally, you will be expected to monitor and troubleshoot applications using Sentry.io and interact with our LLIF cloud backend via REST APIs. The position requires collaboration with a team to troubleshoot and support Best Life's frontend software. You will also be responsible for securely syncing data with authenticated third-party platforms such as Apple Healthkit, Google Fit, and Fitbit. Your development work will take place in private GitHub repositories, and you will participate in daily agile standup meetings to provide updates on your progress. This role is a full-time, permanent position with a Monday to Friday schedule, and it requires in-person work in Raleigh, NC.
