About the position

The Senior Relationship Banker is responsible for executing traditional consumer banking tasks for retail banking customers. This role involves managing customer transactions, converting them into sales or referral leads, and adhering to the bank's policies and standards. The incumbent may work at various locations within the market and is expected to promote sales through customer interactions and effective use of technology.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes the sales process through leveraging sales leads and outbound calling.
  • Greets customers and identifies their service and product needs.
  • Makes appropriate recommendations for selling and cross-selling bank products and services.
  • Identifies and achieves individual weekly sales goals set by the Branch Manager.
  • Incorporates FNB digital products & services into customer interactions.
  • Inputs and maintains effective data quality for all referrals, customers, and applicants using approved branch technology.
  • Completes the lifecycle of all new and existing relationships according to consumer bank standards.
  • Assists with the management of daily sales activity and pre-shift sales huddles.
  • Monitors and measures sales results.
  • Completes operational duties of the branch, including scheduling work and maintaining supplies.
  • Performs routine operational duties, including traditional teller transactions.
  • Serves as a risk manager by understanding and reporting risks encountered daily.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of job-related experience required.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to use a personal computer and job-related software.
  • Basic level proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint, and intermediate level proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of banking policies, procedures, consumer products, and services.
  • Sales and customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry Identifier preferred.
