About the position

As a Senior Research Analyst in the Innovation Service Line at Ipsos, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their innovation journey. This position involves collaborating with project teams and internal resources to meet client needs effectively. You will participate in client communications, utilizing various channels such as email and phone, to understand client requirements and capture their feedback for incorporation into project documents. Familiarity with key clients and accounts within the Service Line is essential, as you will support the preparation of reports and presentations, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and timeliness. Your responsibilities will include owning tasks throughout the project lifecycle, such as link checking, data quality checks, and report population. You will focus on executional excellence, working with increased independence while understanding the project lifecycle for custom research. This role requires you to manage project timelines, collaborate with internal operations partners, and mentor new analysts on core competencies. You will also be involved in reviewing and revising questionnaires, creating and submitting project materials, and monitoring fieldwork to ensure that projects stay on schedule and within scope. In addition to managing multiple projects and priorities, you will participate in analytic plan meetings and create report shells with project team direction. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you review survey data, analyze results, and assist in writing headlines. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, possesses strong attention to detail, and has excellent time management skills. You will be expected to interact positively with internal support teams and adapt to in-house operational processes and software.

Responsibilities

  • Works with project team and appropriate internal resources to meet client needs.
  • Participates in client communication (email, phone, etc.) to gain understanding of needs and capture client requests and feedback.
  • Familiarizes self with key clients/accounts within the Service Line.
  • Supports the preparation of reports and presentations.
  • Shares files and updates with clients as needed.
  • Works alongside project lead in the execution and delivery of reliable and timely data to clients.
  • Focuses on executional excellence with increased independence.
  • Understands the project lifecycle for custom research and manages projects from client approval to deliverables with project lead oversight.
  • Collaborates with internal Ops partners and project lead in project execution.
  • Manages project timelines effectively.
  • Mentors new Analysts on core competencies.
  • Reviews and revises questionnaires as necessary.
  • Creates and submits project materials.
  • Manages internal project partners to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
  • Participates in analytic plan meetings with the project team.
  • Creates report shell with project team direction and is responsible for timely and accurate report creation.
  • Reviews survey data and starts to analyze and interpret survey results.

Requirements

  • Masters in Market Research, or a Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of primary, quantitative research experience in a professional setting.
  • Strong skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness in completing all tasks.
  • Highly organized with good time management skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks.
  • Clear, concise written communication skills.
  • Ability to positively interact with internal support teams.
  • Ability to easily understand and adapt to in-house operational forms, processes, and software.
