The Senior Research Analyst provides a range of research and analytical services to support the sales and marketing efforts of all brokers in the Fairfield/Westchester County and Long Island markets. This role is pivotal in producing high-quality market publications, research papers, and Requests for Proposals (RFPs). The Senior Research Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and write-up of market data and proposal content. Additionally, this position involves assisting other senior researchers, brokers, and marketing staff in support of ongoing and ad hoc research projects. The successful candidate will lead and manage the preparation of quarterly market reports, research publications, market commentary, and forecasts, as well as various materials including presentations, market reports, white papers, opinion pieces, research studies, ad hoc reports, and special reports as needed. In this role, the Senior Research Analyst will plan, write, and edit client-specific responses to Requests for Proposals, which includes preparing new content and gathering existing proposal content. The analyst will also research and resolve complex issues for customized new business development pursuits. Critical thinking and market knowledge will be applied to assist with unique client-specific research requests such as strategic planning, portfolio reviews, and highest and best use analyses. The analyst will be responsible for the collection, maintenance, and preparation of data required for writing quarterly statistical reports, compiling and writing the quarterly market reports, statistics, graphs, and charts, along with additional report, article, and forecast writing. Furthermore, the Senior Research Analyst will assist brokers with pitches and listing presentations by providing market analysis, statistics, and direct research support. They will summarize and communicate analytic findings, insights, and recommendations via executive-level summary documents and presentations. Utilizing database knowledge and data manipulation/query tools, the analyst will track market activity and maintain databases using internal and external resources. They will also provide company and industry research using online, third-party, and in-house resources, and actively look for ways to improve efficiency, capability, and quality of research processes and deliverables. The analyst will represent local office research staff in regional research calls and provide research representation and expertise in client meetings/presentations, educating and training others on the team's capabilities. Lastly, they will coordinate and direct the local support of national research projects on an as-needed basis.
