About the position

The Senior Research Analyst at Gartner plays a crucial role in supporting senior technology executives by providing strategic foresight and insights through qualitative research. This position involves drawing conclusions from complex data, conducting interviews, and developing content that addresses the critical initiatives of members. The analyst will engage with industry leaders and continuously innovate research processes to enhance the service provided by the Gartner Research Board (GRB).

Responsibilities

  • Draw thoughtful conclusions from complex, mostly qualitative data from various sources.
  • Identify and collect necessary data through interviews and surveys with GRB members.
  • Propose and test insightful ideas through primary and secondary research.
  • Convey research findings in polished written, graphical, and verbal formats.
  • Develop content and facilitate conversations that support members' initiatives.
  • Connect with industry leaders, academics, and startup executives for research interviews.
  • Master research processes with a focus on continuous innovation.
  • Embrace best practices and feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Technology background preferred but not required).
  • Excellent writing, reading, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong interviewing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in small, collaborative teams in a fast-paced environment.
