About The Position
The Senior Research Analyst position at Ci3, a research center within the University of Chicago's Section of Complex Family Planning, is designed for individuals who are passionate about addressing the social and structural determinants of sexual and reproductive health. This role involves participating in scientific research projects that aim to improve access to contraception and abortion. The analyst will work collaboratively with the research team and affiliated faculty to design and execute research initiatives, employing both qualitative and quantitative methods. The position is contingent upon the continued receipt of grant funding and satisfactory job performance, reflecting the center's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in its research practices and team composition. In this role, the Senior Research Analyst will lead the implementation of various studies, which may include developing Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols, recruiting and scheduling research subjects, and managing data collection and analysis. The research portfolio includes projects that explore the experiences of individuals seeking abortion care, analyze data from regional abortion funds, and evaluate adolescent contraceptive counseling needs. The analyst will also be responsible for writing articles, reports, and manuscripts, as well as assisting in drafting presentations on research findings. This position requires a strong commitment to sexual and reproductive health research and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments while ensuring compliance with institutional, state, and federal policies.
