About the position

The Senior Research Analyst at Dartmouth College will support biomedical and clinical research through data wrangling, statistical analyses, and manuscript preparation. This role involves collaborating with researchers to assist in study design and providing statistical support, primarily under the supervision of Dr. Todd MacKenzie. The position requires in-person work 1-2 days a week, with the remainder of the work being remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform data wrangling and cleaning for research projects.
• Conduct statistical analyses as per prescribed plans.
• Draft methods and results sections for research manuscripts.
• Assist researchers in selecting appropriate study designs.
• Provide statistical support and guidance to researchers.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in statistics or a closely related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a relevant role or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to work independently on statistical analyses.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for summarizing findings and supporting researchers.

Nice-to-haves

• PhD or master's degree with 5+ years of experience.
