About The Position
The Senior Research Analyst at Colliers International plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive research and analytical services that support the sales and marketing efforts of brokers in the South Florida region. This position is primarily responsible for producing high-quality market publications, research papers, and Requests for Proposals (RFPs). The Senior Research Analyst will engage in the collection, analysis, and write-up of market data and proposal content, ensuring that all outputs meet the high standards expected by the company and its clients. Additionally, the role involves collaboration with other senior researchers, brokers, and marketing staff to support ongoing and ad hoc research projects, making it essential for the analyst to be resourceful and detail-oriented. In this position, the Senior Research Analyst will lead and manage the preparation of quarterly market reports, research publications, market commentary, and forecasts. This includes creating various materials such as presentations, market reports, white papers, opinion pieces, and special reports as needed. The analyst will also be responsible for planning, writing, and editing client-specific responses to RFPs, which involves preparing new content, gathering existing proposal content, and resolving complex issues for customized new business development pursuits. Critical thinking and market knowledge will be applied to assist with unique client-specific research requests, including strategic planning and portfolio reviews. The role requires the collection, maintenance, and preparation of data necessary for writing quarterly statistical reports. The Senior Research Analyst will compile and write quarterly market reports, including statistics, graphs, and charts, and will assist brokers with pitches and listing presentations by providing market analysis and direct research support. Furthermore, the analyst will summarize and communicate analytic findings, insights, and recommendations through executive-level summary documents and presentations. Utilizing database knowledge and data manipulation tools, the analyst will track market activity and maintain databases using both internal and external resources, while also providing company and industry research. The Senior Research Analyst will actively seek ways to improve the efficiency, capability, and quality of research processes and deliverables. This includes representing the local office research staff in regional research calls and providing research representation and expertise in client meetings and presentations. The analyst will also play a key role in promoting Colliers' research resources and capabilities to brokers and coordinating the local support of national research projects as needed.
