About the position

SAIC is seeking a Senior Institutional Research Analyst to serve as the Joint Education Assessment Advisor, supporting the Joint Staff, J-7. This role involves analyzing military education data, communicating findings to high-level stakeholders, and ensuring data integrity in reports. The position is based at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA, and requires a strong background in military education and research.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) performance data and document findings in formal reports written at the 3-Star General Officer/Flag Officer level.
• Plan and report progress of J7 reviews of JPME program processes.
• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for program reviews and evaluations, analyze JPME performance metrics and brief JPME stakeholders at meetings and conferences.
• Support the implementation of an outcomes-based assessment approach to JPME.
• Develop standardized practices for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports.
• Support/coordinate the revision of standard operating procedures as they relate to JPME.
• Represent J7 on the Military Education Assessment Advisory Committee (MEAAC), support/coordinate focus group activities, and make recommendations to the Military Education Coordination Council Working Group (MECC WG) on program evaluations.
• Effectively communicate analysis through formal presentations, narratives, and written reports tailored to the target audience.
• Serve as a resource to provide data-related technical and analytical support to the Joint Education Branch.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 15 years of experience; or a Master's degree and 13 years or more of experience.
• Active Top Secret Clearance.
• Ability to work with data from multiple electronic sources.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
