About the position

As a Senior Research Associate in Analytical Science & Technology at Randstad US, you will play a crucial role in supporting Analytical Chemistry and Bioassay Tech Transfer activities. This position involves engaging in method lifecycle projects, which include Acquisition, Validation, Qualification, Optimization, Troubleshooting, and Transfer. You will be responsible for laboratory testing that supports analytical chemistry and bioassay method qualification, validation, and transfer projects for various methods such as HPLC, Compendial, Plate-based, and cell-based techniques. Your expertise will be essential in authoring method Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), validation protocols, and reports, ensuring that all documentation meets the required standards. In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will support data review and verification processes, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the data generated. Training Quality Control (QC) analysts to perform testing will also be part of your duties, contributing to the development of a skilled team. As the role may evolve, you will be expected to take on additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating your flexibility and commitment to the team's success. Responsibilities

  • Support Analytical Chemistry and Bioassay Tech Transfer activities including method lifecycle projects.
  • Conduct laboratory testing for analytical chemistry and bioassay method qualification/validation/transfer projects.
  • Author method SOPs, validation protocols, and reports.
  • Support data review and data verification processes.
  • Train QC analysts to perform testing.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in sciences.
  • 3+ years of industry experience in a cGMP laboratory setting focused on analytical chemistry.
  • Experience with HPLC, compendial, cell-based bioassays, and plate-based methods.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate issues effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
  • Strong collaboration skills in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
